He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Hopkins and Callie Smith Hopkins; his wife Rosa Lee Hopkins; his brother Wilton Hopkins; and his brother-in-law Dewey Trammell.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Hopkins (Wendy) of Gilbert, Debbie Yasmine of Jacksonville, FL, Vicki Hopkins of Lexington, Diane Raimey of Ft. Myers, FL and Patti Rosenberg (Stuart) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Jeffery Yasmine, Neil Hopkins and Nikki Hopkins; and his sister Marion Trammell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
