It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Ballington Shealy (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his children, Cindy Shealy Clark, Mickey Shealy and Edward Shealy; his parents, Ernest Shealy and Juanell Ballington Shealy; and his siblings, Ernest Shealy and Ann Shealy Miles.

He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Shealy Farmer; his wife Patricia McClure Shealy; his brother Bruce Shealy; his children-in-law, Darryl Farmer, Bill Clark and Denise Moncrief; his grandchildren, Keri Patrick, Whitt Shealy, Davis Farmer, Riley Farmer, Morgan Clark, Kendall Farmer and Phillip Shealy; and his great grandchildren, Finn Farmer and Caleb Patrick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mt. Tabor Playground Fund.
