She was predeceased by: her husband Severn Malcom Ray, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Laura Ann Brooks, Virginia "Jenny" McCall, Christopher Lynn Ray (Rebecca) and James Lee Ray. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Radius Church, 300 W. Main St. Lexington, SC 29072.
