He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Blanchard Behnke and Susan Fortune Behnke Jones; his grandson James Black Jones IV (Suzanne Webb Jones); his great grandchild Miriam Virginia; his grandson Stephen Jacob Jones (Heather Taylor Jones); his great grandchildren, Harrison of Wallace, BE and Penelope Lee; his son Thomas Wallace Behnke (Theresa Wallace Behnke); his grandchildren, John Wallace (Anna Dalton Behnke) and Lindsey Marie Behnke; and his sibling's children, William Charles Behnke (Sandra Sedor Behnke) and Nancy Behnke Dickerman (James Dickerman).
