He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn L. Johnson (Gary) of Lexington, SC and Janet L. Meares of West Columbia; his grandchildren, Donny (Amanda), Christie, William Meares, III, Jessica, Chris (Stacy), Tyler, Cherie (Jonathan), Stephen and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Liam, Brennon, Kade, Savanna (Dylan), Ayden, Hannah, Aubrey, Vincent, Nathaniel, Kimberly, Isaiah, Noah (Gary), Brianna and Andrew; and his great great grandchild Rebel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (609 Northwood Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209).
