It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Charlie Whitaker (Liberty, South Carolina), who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whitaker and Lucy Mae Whitaker Bruce. He is survived by: his brother Exxon; his wife Edna Stephens Whitaker; his children, Gail Hughes (Steve) of Liberty and Carl Whitaker (Sharon) of Six Mile; his brother Paul Whitaker of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Kamie Duncan (Scott) of Easley, Kyle Whitaker of Charlotte, Karla Hughes of Liberty, Kim Hughes of Liberty and Craig Hughes of Liberty.
