It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma Jean Mintz (Little River, South Carolina), born in Narrows, Virginia, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lucas and Virgie Spicer Lucas. She is survived by: her husband Wiliford C. Mintz; her children, Wiliford Mintz, Jr. (Lisa) of Inman, SC, Susan Leonard, Jeannie Turner (Robert) of Little River, SC and Winnie Norris (Ralph) of Sunset Beach, NC; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey Hadley, Nicole Simpson, Chris Mintz, Jennifer Canady and Jason Norris. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
