With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Lawton Ellis Neely of Little River, South Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Anne Lawton Ellis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anne Lawton Ellis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Bell Ellis and Marguerite Coker Erwin Ellis. She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Ellis Neely and Charles Douglass Neely (Kelly); and her grandsons, Ellis Mazie Neely and Luke Douglass Neely.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church (4941 Main St, Shallotte, NC 28470).
