She was predeceased by: her parents, James Slaughter, Jr. and Violet Maxfield; her stepfather Kennie Maxfield; her daughter Jennifer Zamaitis; her son-in-law George Sultage, Jr.; and her brother Robert Slaughter.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Zamaitis (Ed) of Mechanicsville, MD; her daughter Michelle Sultage; her grandsons, Hunter and Bryce of Mechanicsville, MD; her siblings, James Slaughter, III of Chatham, VA and Amanda Vazquez of Texas City; her aunt Joyce Shelton (Donald) of Gretna, VA; and her niece Ashley Alhambra (Cito) of Lusby, MD. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many special friends.
