He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. R. Griggs and Edna Hall Hopkins; his wife Vicki Lester Creech; his sons, David Flint (Laura) and Cameron Creech; and his brothers, Roger and Mike Griggs. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
