He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred M. Buss, (Lapp) and Elwood G. Buss, Sr.; and his brother Edward J. Buss. He is survived by : his wife Bea (Kemmerer); his children, George E. Buss of York, PA and Cindy (Buss); his son-in-law Rick Snyder of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Marc C. Snyder, Craig D. Snyder, Nicholas G. Buss and Peyton E. Buss; and his great grandchild Abigal L. Snyder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calabash Covenant Presbyterian Church.
