He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Boyd Hodge; his daughter Cindy; and his siblings, Bill, Herbert, Betty, Margie and Mary Margret.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rose (Johnny) and Gracie (Mark); his son-in-law Jack; his grandchildren, Ashley, Corey, Jason (Jess) and Shelby (Blake); and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Cecilia, Willow and August.
