Though Mary Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Felan; and her parents, Elpidia Sanchez and Juan T. Sanchez. She is survived by: her children, Roxanne M Felan, John Felan and Christine Macias; her grandsons, Mason, Brian and Ethan Felan; and her great grandchildren, Christian, Isela and Lily Felan. She is also survived by her three children, all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with her two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary North (10901 W. Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78023). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
