With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alfred Truesdale Jr. (Lugoff, South Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alfred left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Loraine Ross Truesdale; and his parents, A. C. Truesdale, Sr. and Ruth Langley Truesdale. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Truesdale Jones (Jamey) of Camden; his grandchildren, Avery Eliza Williams, Garrett Gamble, Aiken Guerard, Myers Guerard, Lila Guerard, Harris, Ashlyn and Jonathan; his siblings, Theresa Maples, Vorona "Ronni" Mims (Don), Dawn Lawrence (J. B.) and Donavan Truesdale; his mother-in-law Barbara Cobb; his extended family, Robert, Terri, Donald, Darrell, Derhonda, Rengy and Ted; his pets, Charlie and Otis; and his sisters, Paulette Munn and Marsha Spradley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
