He was predeceased by: his parent Carey Allen Napper, Sr.; his siblings, Pam Peach (Byron) and Dean Napper; his father-in-law James Banks; and his brother-in-law Larry Banks.

He is survived by: his mother Doris Jean McCoy Napper; his wife Bivian Napper; his son Brant Boan (Kelly); his grandchildren, Nathan Beckham, Kane Boan, Ally Beckham, Brantley Boan, Bently Beckham and Ma'Kyiah Clyburn; his brother Tony Napper (Jessica); his sister-in-law Debra Napper; and his mother-in-law Jeanette Banks.
