We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Carrie H. Pate (Lugoff, South Carolina), born in Camden, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Pate; her parents, Tillman Hayes and Mary Hornsby Hayes; her son Eugene Blease Ray; her grandson Chuck Carraway; and her siblings, Rosa Lee Barrett, Henry, Sam and Andrew Hayes.

She is survived by: her daughter Betty Bowers (Joe); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Carraway (Ed Corey), Mandy Sims (Timmy), Eugene Ray (Valerie), Todd Housand and Jamie Ray; and her close friend Earl Catoe. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Theil-Meyer Pet Adoption Center.
