He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Hancock Skipper; his children, Shelia Arledge of Camden, Charles Michael Skipper of Camden and Tony Carol Skipper of Camden; his grandchildren, Chrystal Hinson (Eric), Trampes Arledge (Kelly), Scottie Skipper and Michelle Jenkins; and his siblings, Ted Skipper (Diane), William Skipper (Sherry) and Patricia Gardner (Gary). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
