She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Albert and Lucille Pennington Thompson; and her siblings, Bobby Gene Thompson and Delphia Loretta "Debbie" Dixon. She is survived by: her husband Charles Michael "Mike" Smith; her children, Delphia Michelle Flowers (Eddie), Angela "Angie" Dennis (Bruce), Johnnie Smith (Nyah Patel) and Bobby Smith (James Hardin); her grandchildren, Michael Flowers, Ashley and Brandon Dennis; and her brother Randy Thompson (Vicky).
