She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Perry and Ollie Cobb Perry; her son Steven Whitaker; and her siblings, Sally Roth, Irene Stewart, Burchill Perry, John Perry, Earl Perry and Charles Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Denise McPherson, Bill Whitaker (Cathy), Robin J. Storey (Tom) and Dana Whitaker Epps (Jimmy); and her siblings, Lucy Mitchell and Larry Perry. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild.
