He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Peebles and Dorothy Bell Lane Peebles; and his siblings, Lucius Peebles, R. D. Peebles, James Calvin Peebles, Esau Peebles and Willie Joe Peebles.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Peebles, Robert Peebles, Gerald Peebles (Bethany), Tonya Peebles and Anthony Peebles; and his siblings, Jacob Peebles (Johnnie Mae), Leroy Peebles, Jerry Peebles, John Peebles and Elizabeth Roary.
