With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erin Courtney Powell of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 30. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Jacqueline Dinkins Powell; and her daughter Stella Grace Pierson. She is survived by: her father Robert Powell; her fiancé Travis Pierson; her children, Willow Storm Pierson, Luna Haisley Pierson, Lola Jacqueline Pierson and Walker Lee Pierson; her siblings, Mary Ann DeLong (Nate), Robert Otto Powell (Morgan), Jessica Renee Cooper (Scott) and Amy Nicole Powell; and her pet Opie. She is also survived by 14 nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kershaw County Humane Society in honor of Erin who was an avid animal lover.
