It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Juanita Nelson of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Whitmire, South Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Labron and Maggie Hunnicutt Nelson; and her siblings, Mildred McMillan, Dorothy Nelson, Aubrey Labron Nelson, Jr. and Robert L. Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverbanks Zoo.
