He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Campbell Beard; his children, Samie Julian Beard, Jr. (Annmarie) of Lugoff, Angela Pierson (Glen) of Lugoff and Amanda Beard of Lugoff; his grandchildren, Skyler, Jordan, Triston, Ashley, Shelly, Lindsey, Daniel, Hayley and Raymond; his great grandchildren, Kaysen, Matthew, Bentley, Michael, Greyson, Riley, Maci and Wyatt; and his brother Frankie Beard of Lugoff.
