It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Herbert Price of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Edgefield, South Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elsa; his parents, Robert L. Price and Ethel Eubanks Price Mathis; and his siblings, Burrell (Lucille) and Alice Price Brown (Wayne).
He is survived by: his stepfather Fred Mathis; his children, Eva M. Price (Jeffery L. Jackson) of Taylors, SC and Robert L. Price (Laurie) of Killeen, TX; and his grandchildren, Deneen Kinney of Winder, GA, Walter "Skip" Price (Kami) of Lugoff, SC, Angela Boudart (Tim) of Colora, MD, Johanna Gover (Brett) of Arlington, TX, Johnny Price (Nina) of Germany and Mattea Price of Killeen, TX. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
