It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Elliott Hendrix of Manning, South Carolina, born in Cheraw, South Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lamuel Hendrix and Annie Mae Gainey Hendrix. He is survived by: his children, Pamela H. Gray of Manning and John C. Hendrix of Sumter; his grandchildren, Susan M. Mack (Henry) of Manning and Michael P. Gray (Kelly) of Hartsville; his great grandchildren, Draven and Gabriella; and his brother Lewis Perry (Molly) of Sumter. He is also survived by four nephews.
