She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harold Dyer, Sr. and Zora Ellison Dyer; her siblings, James H. Dyer Jr. and Juanita Brown; her son William "Billy" Gilbert; and her daughters-in-law, Lisa Loudermilk Gilbert and Misty Lee Moore Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Edward "Eddie" Gilbert, Elizabeth "Jean" McKay, Terry James Gilbert, Robert Dennis Gilbert, Ruth Pritchett and James Paul "PJ" Gosnell. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
