Dot Poteat Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dot Poteat of Marietta, South Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie James and Belle Tankersley Turner; and her siblings, Louise Cantrell, Ruby Reeves, Bertha Miller, Helen Reece, Hazel Turner, Albert Turner and Jessie Turner.

She is survived by: her children, Eric Andrews (Stephanie) and Vickie Hughes (Chris); her grandchildren, Erika Andrews, Clark Thurston, Owen Thurston, Laura Thurston, Christian Hughes and Hallmon Hughes; and her sisters, Margie Pittman and Audra Anderson (Oscar). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
