He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Houston and Frances Maybelle Holman Dover; his son Clifford Barton Dover; his siblings, Earl Joseph Dover, Hubert Ross Dover, Mary Rose Robinson and Joyce Elizabeth Saylors; and his grandson Adam Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Jean Chapman Dover of Marietta, SC; his children, Julie Dover Sexton (Dan) of Arlington, Texas and Ross Dover of California; his sisters, Martha Wanda Anderson and Patricia Wilson of Marietta, SC; his stepdaughter Alison Barnett-Head; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Clare, Mattie, Tessa and Russell. He is also survived by six loving great-grandchildren.
