He was predeceased by : his parents, George Tucker and Lois Perhealth Bonnett; his wife Vivian Ann "Vib" Tucker; his grandmother Lilly Perhealth; and his granddaughter Staci Tucker.

He is survived by : his children, David Lee Tucker (Karen) of Rowland, NC, Jimmy Tucker (Dana) of Laurinburg, NC, Lil Tucker of McColl, SC and Kelly Caulder of McColl, SC; his sisters, Lyn Behrens, Vickie Pluemer, Barbara Trapp and Laurie George; his stepfather Wayne Bonnett; his grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Troy Hunt, Blake Jones, Ansleigh Caulder, Tyler Tucker, Nahaven Tucker, Trent Kersey, Ralynn Kersey and Gracyn Tucker; and his great grandchildren, Zayden Hunt and Ayzleigh Caulder. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
