She was predeceased by : her parents, Donnie Locklear and Myrtle Langley Locklear; her daughter Cynthia Montoya; and her siblings, David Locklear and Katherine Shannon.

She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Montoya (Gerald Schermerhorn) of Hartsville and Teresa Quick (Johnny) of Bennettsville; her sisters, Ophelia Kitchin, Margaret LaBean, Jeanette Redbrook and Geneva Williams; her grandchildren, Carrie, James, Eva, Randy, Jimmy and Johnny; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Jocelyn, Aiden, Alayna, Lillith and Lorelei.
