He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Stewart and Lala Ryals Stewart; his wife Doris Stewart; and his sister Doris S. Lindsay. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Stewart Brown (Ron) of Austin, TX and Cindy Van Horn (Guy) of Summerville, SC; and his grandchildren, Jason Brown (Amber), Nick Van Horn (Erin), Lindsay O'Connor (Chris), Catherine Thomas (James) and Jenna-Wade Garman (Barclay). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
