He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Modica and Mary Modica; his granddaughter Ashlon Kaye Brown; his sisters, Freida M. Carpino and Sarafina M. Weyhe; his wife Nancy Wells Modica; his children, Melinda M. Compton (Mark) of Irmo, Mark A. Modica (Hazel) of Moncks Corner and Michael C. Modica (Pam) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Logan A. Brown, Kaylee A. Modica and Mandee Modica.
