He is survived by: his wife Mary Loretta Pierce Matthews; his children, Susan M. Bobbitt (Mike), Jack David Matthews (Dyan) and Donald K. Matthews (Lora); and his grandchildren, Megan, Katelyn, Madison Bobbitt, Jack, Emma Matthews, Pierce and Ian Matthews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Chapel (107 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Williston Cemetery.
