With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joye Catherine Beaver Tart in Summerville, South Carolina, born in Perry, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 85. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joye Catherine Beaver shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joye Catherine Beaver farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Fillmore Beaver and Sara Cannon Beaver; and her daughter Terri Mills. She is survived by: her husband Harold Andrew Tart; her son Charles "Butch" Packer (Sandra Ann); her grandchildren, Kevin Ackerman, Russell "Rusty" Mills, Brandon Mills and Joy Mills; and her sister Billie Brown (Henry). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cordesville First Baptist Church (1913 SC-402, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
