She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Wannamaker Mixson and Mattie Pearl Mixson; her husband Clyde Norwood Mixson; and her siblings, Leitha Bunch, Leona Hodge, Robert Mixson, Ocie Mixson, Larry Mixson and Columbus Mixson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Ames (DeLyle "Dee" Ames) of Macedonia, Lisa Davey (Richard) of Macedonia and Lynne Causey of Macedonia; her grandchildren, Sean Norwood Ames (Wendy), Courtney Olivia Ames Watkins (Wyman), Corey Benjamin Ames, Meredith Kate Davey and Jocelyn Blair Davey; and her great grandchildren, Liam Ames, Cael Ames, Rylan Watkins and Keaton Watkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
