It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Louise Tankersley of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ernest and Nora Dillard Little; her former husband John Pinckney Tankersley, Jr.; and her siblings, Col. Juanita Little, Angeline Little Normand, Helen Little Carter, George Randolph Little, Carlton Brice Little and Thomas Harvell Little.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Lana Tankersley Meredith of South Bend, IN and John P. 'Jack Tankersley Ill of Mt. Pleasant; and her siblings, Jack Little of DeFuniak Springs, FL. and Grace Little Marse of Point Washington, FL.. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
