It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Bernstein Pearlman of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, born in Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Judge Gus H. Pearlman; and her parents, Abraham Bernstein and Lillian Tumpowski Bernstein. She is survived by : her sons, David T. Pearlman of Sullivan's Island, SC, Robert B. Pearlman of Mount Pleasant, SC and Dr. Jonathan Pearlman of Granville, OH; her daughters-in-law, Janet Pearlman, Cynthia Pearlman and Jenny Pearlman; her niece Marilyn Bernstein Schwartz; her grandchildren, Franci, Elizabeth, Katherine, Andrew, Adam, Alex and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Aurora, Bernadette, Gus, Mia, Aiden, Gabriella and Camille.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Temple of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Congregation, 90 Hasell Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
