He was predeceased by : his father Carl Furman Mutch; and his former wife Laura D. Mutch. He is survived by : his mother Carolyn Mutch-Blair of Mount Pleasant, SC; his wife Casey M. Mutch; his step-daughter Molly May McCaughan of Mount Pleasant, SC; his siblings, Anna Bolen (Rick) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Ric; his parents-in-law, Colleen and Nick Monk of Newport News, VA; his sister-in-law Kelly Richardson of Newport News, VA.; and his nieces and nephews, Anna Grace Bolen, Jacob Bolen, Ryan Richardson, Jay Richardson and Cole Richardson.

A funeral service was held on Friday, July 23rd 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Dukes-Harley Funeral Home (3379 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118). A reception was held on Saturday, July 24th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Snee Farm Country Club (1200 Club Dr, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the educational fund of Molly M. McCaughan (SC 529 c/o Merrill Lynch).
