She is survived by: her husband Edward P. Forney (Ned); her mother Sharon Bateman; her sisters, Ashley Cusick (John) of Westfield and Kim Baker of San Antonio; her nieces and nephews, Jack, James Cusick, Jessica and Ava Baker; and her stepson Ben Forney.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church (53 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pattison's Academy, African Education Outreach (an education organization in Nigeria), or a cancer research or dog rescue organization of your choice.
