It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Booze Reeves Whaley of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Russell Booze; her brother Charles R. Booze, Jr.; her husbands, Channing Reeves (Ashley River Baptist Church) and George A. Whaley; and her children, Gail Reeves Chapin and William "Bill" Dennis Bryant Reeves.
She is survived by: her mother Florence Ruley Booze; her children, Keith Channing Reeves (Wendy) of Beaufort, SC and Alice Reeves Botts (Joe) of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Peter Matthew Chapin, Jenny Chapin Fielding (Julius), Channing Lane Botts (Chris Jenkins), Lorin Botts Richter (Chris) and William Joseph Reeves Botts (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Logan Gail Chapin, Aleena Chapin, William Richter and Christian Richter; her aunt Susan Whaley Miles (John); and her pet Cody. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
