He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel W. Blue, Sr. and Ida Mae Bethea Blue; and his siblings, Norma Blue Whitfield (Johnny), Victor L. Blue (Gail), James Lester Blue (Audrey), Charles Blue (Niecy) and Fernando Blue.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Blue; his children, Daniel Warren Blue, III and Susan Danielle Blue; and his brothers, Reverend and Franklin Blue (Lucinda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and good friends.
