He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas E. Huggins, Sr. and Dorothy V. Jones Huggins; his sister Dottie V. Huggins; his stepson Paul A. Lloyd; and his nephew Eric Tindall.

He is survived by : his former life partner JoAn H. Jenkins; his stepsons, James E. Lloyd, Jr. and Michael Lloyd; his stepgrandchildren, James, III, Jesse Charlie, Bailey, Coby, Riley, Corbin and Brooke Lloyd; his great grandchild Carter Lloyd; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Tindall, Jackson Woodle, Susan Tindall, Molly Woodle, Riley Tindall and Savannah Tindall.
