It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daisy Williams-McGowan of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James A. McGowan, Jr.; her parents, Rev. Liston T. Williams, Sr. and Freeda Wise Williams; her sisters, Scarlet Williams, Sandra Hucks and Wanda Douglas; and her sister-in-law Louetta Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Scarlett Broome (Gene) and Jared Poston (Roni); her grandchildren, Logan, Bladen, Cullen, Lily and Camilla; and her siblings, Liston Williams, Jr., Darry Williams (Brenda) and Deborah Owens (Charles). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
