He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Sylvia Johnson; and his brothers, James, Jerry, John and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Ethel Johnson of Murrells Inlet; and his siblings, Rose Hall of Melvindale, Jean Hollister of White Cloud, Michigan, Jack Johnson of Manchester and Charles Johnson of Bellville, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
