He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Garrabrant and Grace Garrabrant (Worden); his wife Cheryl L. Bayard; his grandson Justin Garrabrant of Daytona Beach; and his brothers, Russell and Lloyd of Connecticut.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Garrabrant of Greeneville, TN, David Garrabrant of Chuckey, TN and Michele Westling of Greeneville, TN; his grandchildren, Ryan Garrabrant of Daytona Beach, FL, Kyle Garrabrant of Daytona Beach, FL, Devin Garrabrant (Paige) of Greeneville, TN, Kayla Westling of Johnson City, TN and Kurt Westling Jr. of Greeneville, TN; his nieces, Karen Garrabrant of Bradford and June; his great-nephew Jake; his great-niece Samantha; and his sibling's children, Russell Garrabrant (Sonia Santorelli) of Woburn, Massachusetts and Suzanne Garrison Terry of Stony Brook.
