It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Turbeville of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Laverne Wadhams and Lucille Mae Clifton Wadhams; her son Mark Raymond Abbott; her husband Robert L. Turbeville of Murrells Inlet; her daughter Linda Nelson (Joe) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Caroline and Mark Nelson; and her siblings, Roger Svensson (Maggie) and Connie Bowman (Ed). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends.
