She was predeceased by: her parent Frederick William; her husband Nicholas Albert Gibbs; her brothers, Howard Schneider, Rolland Schneider and Edward Schneider; and her granddaughter Maureen Vanhauten.

She is survived by: her parent Marie Anna Schneider; and her children, Clinton Gibbs of Murrells Inlet, Ronald R. Gibbs (Lorraine) of Eaton Rapids, MI and Marie Myers (Robert) of Cottontown, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nine great- great grandchildren.
