She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Lindsey Starr and Jettie Mary Susan Pollard; her husband Willliam Henry III; and her daughter Susan Starr VonSlep. She is survived by: her sons, William Henry IV (Lisa Aglietti) and Robert Emerson (Phyllis). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Mary's lifelong love of her family pets, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Saint Francis Animal Shelter in Georgetown, SC or a local animal shelter of choice in memory of Mary Jim Starr VonSlep.
