He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ryder of Murrells Inlet; his children, Scott Ryder of Beverly, MA and Debra Simmons (Douglas) of Clinton, MA; his nieces, Carol Elliot (Philip III) of Barrington, RI and Maria Lundberg Ohlsson (Hakan) of Sweden; and his nephew Jeffrey Lundberg of Ridgefield, CT..
