He is survived by: his daughter Kara Brooke Carpenter (Rodney Black) of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Steve Prince of Greenville, SC and Jeanette Jones of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Tyerra, Kinda and Braylen; and his great grandchild Kylin.
